10 new film proposals for the summer season 2022

Big screen hits await us in the summer of 2022. We’ve written 10 new movies for those looking forward to returning to the cinema-going days.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 6)

Following the huge success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel is doubling down on the multiverse fun with the second Doctor Strange film. “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” picks up where Benedict Cumberbatch left off following the master of the mystical arts trying to come to terms with the fracture in the universe that has caused different worlds to intersect.

Men (June 3)

We know very little about Alex Garland’s little pandemic film about a bereaved widow (Jessie Buckley) who goes on holiday to the English countryside alone, but the trailer got us pretty nervous. “Men” is one of the must-see movies this summer!

Observer (June 3)

Chloe Okuno’s first feature film “Watcher” (Audience) seems to bring thrillers to the cinemas again… In this film we will see Maika Monroe, the main actress of “It Follows”; Traveling to her husband’s (Karl Glusman) Romanian hometown, Julie often finds herself alone, empty and hopeless amidst the anonymous apartment complex that surrounds her. Julie must face an uncertain chase!

Jurassic World Dominion (June 10)

Colin Trevorrow returns to the director’s chair! Four years after the destruction of Isla Nublar, dinosaurs now live and hunt with humans around the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and ultimately determine whether humans will no longer remain the greatest predators on a planet shared with history’s most terrifying creatures. The original stars of the film; Jurassic World: Domination also stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum.

Brian and Charles (June 17)

In the feature shoot of Jim Archer’s 2017 short film of the same name; We will see a friendly comedy that will warm our hearts. Always dreaming bigger than expected, Brian decides he needs a friend and builds Charles from an array of household items. This movie might just be one of the cutest, funniest, hottest stories of the year…

Light Year (June 17)

Don’t worry, there’s animation this summer! The Toy Story sequel, Lightyear takes Buzz Lightyear out of the toy and tells the story of the real man who inspired the action figure. Chris Evans voices Space Ranger Buzz in the Disney/Pixar production directed by Oscar winner Angus MacLan. Lightyear is the fifth film in the Toy Story series.

Official Competition (June 17th)

Get ready to laugh with star players! An aging billionaire hires a famous filmmaker to make a positive impact on the world. The film presents a sardonic satire on industry stereotypes and artists who take themselves seriously. Seeing Antonio Banderas and Penélope Cruz together on the big screen makes this film even more valuable.

School Shave (June 17)

Yusuf wants to take his sick friend to the doctor. However, they struggle with the school bureaucracy, the callous attitude of the administration, the difficult geographical conditions of their place of residence and many other problems. You should experience this hard-hitting and highly acclaimed film by Ferit Karahan in the cinema…

Cha Cha Real Smooth (June 17)

The film, about a young man’s friendship with a mother and her autistic daughter, promises to be a cynical and compassionate spectacle. This humble drama received critical acclaim at the Sundance Film Festival.

Elvis (June 24)

Based on the rock ‘n’ roll legend, directed by Baz Luhrmann and starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, “Elvis” will chronicle the life and music of King Presley in light of his complex relationship with his enigmatic manager Parker.
