“It can be seen that there are malicious messages and comments on some social media accounts regarding the National Sovereignty Day and Children’s Day events on April 23, which are enthusiastically celebrated in our province and across the country. Therefore, it is appropriate to make the following statement.

April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, held in our City’s Kent Park, was celebrated with enthusiasm and intense participation from our students and citizens. As you know, we share our excitement and joy on National Sovereignty Day and Children’s Day on April 23 with all the children of the world and find the opportunity to carry the messages of friendship, brotherhood and peace through children around the world. In accordance with this understanding, the folk dances of the Kırşehir region were included in the activities, and the Turkmen students studying in our city’s schools also presented their own country’s folk dance show.

We would like to express our regret that the celebrations were misused by some circles using as an excuse the demonstrations of Turkmen students who attended the events with great admiration.

It is announced to the public with respect.”
