The Turkish teacher Tuba Yavuz informed about the event at the secondary school Şehit Birol Akın Cumhuriyet and explained the importance of reading. Yavuz said, “Reading is about discovering new worlds and our goal is to inspire our students to read through fun activities and raise generations who read throughout their lives.” A reading campaign took place in the school garden. The students were seated so that they could write “books” and a “We love to read” banner with colorful handprints was placed in front of them. This is how the phrase “We love to read” came about. This show also attracted attention.

The event was attended by District Governor Kemal Ülkü, District Mayor Mehmet Kızıldaş, District National Director of Education Hasan Yay and branch heads, as well as all the staff and students of the school.
